Dr. Watkins has presented her work at the Baptist Health South Florida Research Conference in Miami, Florida, and Bethesda Health's Evidence-Based Nursing Practice and Research Council in Boynton Beach.

Dr. Watkins has been on the frontlines of healthcare since early 2020, treating COVID-19 patients, and continues to treat and advocate for patients affected by COVID-19.
